Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This policy explains what MenuForma collects and why.

What we store

Restaurant owners: account email, restaurant profile, menu content, uploaded images, and order records created through your QR menus.

Diner data

Diners need no account. We store only what an order requires (items, table/room, optional name/phone/address) plus anonymous scan analytics (language chosen, page views).

Third parties

Hosting/database: self-hosted PostgreSQL on our servers · AI extraction & translation: OpenAI (menu images are processed to text; not used for training) · Payments: Razorpay / Stripe. Payment card data never touches our servers.

Your rights

Owners can export or delete all data anytime (Settings → Delete Restaurant). Email privacy@menuforma.com for diner-data requests under applicable privacy laws.
